Now that summer is approaching, Chicagoans are ready to leave their homes and spend time at their local farmers’ markets. Finding the right one for you and your family can take time but here we have Farmers’ Markets marked by Chicago neighborhoods.

There are a couple of clusters of markets located near the north side and the loop. These Farmers’ Markets go up north as far as Rogers Park.

Most of these markets take place closer to the heart of Chicago because of the better exposure and foot traffic downtown. Chicago’s Farmers Markets bring more than 70 vendors selling a variety of items from fresh fruits and vegetables to a diverse range of fresh flowers and plants. According to the City of Chicago Data Portal markets are held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday all throughout the city.

So don’t miss out this summer and get out to explore a farmers market near you!
